The advanced features included in the Santa Fe have been designed to let you concentrate on enjoying the ride. An electronic Torque on Demand 4WD system with lock in function monitors road and driving conditions and applies 4WD exactly when it is required helping to maximise economy in normal driving conditions. With air conditioning as standard on the GSI, every drive is made as relaxed as possible, while CDX and CDX+ models come with steering wheel mounted audio controls and cruise control, plus dual zone climate control, emphasising the sense of contemporary sophistication.
Driver and passenger seats
With adjustable seat height and lumbar support for the driver on all models, plus electric adjustment (driver only on CDX, driver and front passenger on CDX+) and two stage heated front seats on CDX and CDX+ models, the Santa Fe provides seating to help make your journey as comfortable as possible in any conditions.
Dual zone climate control
Dual zone climate control enables the driver and front passenger to choose their individually preferred temperatures – even if they are very different. Available on CDX and CDX+.
Rain sensor
As the first drops of rain fall, the rain sensor automatically switches the windscreen wipers on, allowing the driver to concentrate on the road. Available on CDX+.
Smartnav™
Smartnav™ is a revolutionary satellite navigation system that gives you 24 hour access to your own Personal Assistant who will input your journey details (from as little information as a business name or postcode). This then calculates your optimum route based on up-to-the-minute traffic information, providing you with clear verbal instructions throughout your journey. Smartnav™ also provides you with real time traffic information whilst on your route to divert you round any traffic delays.
Steering wheel mounted audio and cruise control
The in–car entertainment system can be controlled direct from the steering wheel, without taking the driver’s attention from the road.
Cruise control is also accessed through the steering wheel remote controls. This feature is the most fuel-efficient and relaxing way of maintaining a constant speed, making long journeys effortless.

Torque on Demand with Lock in 4WD function
The electronic Torque on Demand 4WD system uses sensors to monitor road and driving conditions, detecting when and where more torque is needed and automatically engaging 4WD whenever it is required helping to maximise economy in normal driving conditions. The Lock in function allows the 4WD system to be permanently engaged when adverse conditions demand that extra level of vehicle control.
